Bio

Claude-Robert Policart is an artist and a writer from Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA. He exhibited art in Angouleme, France, Tokyo, Japan, Stuttgart, Germany, Toronto, Canada, and New York City. He developed his forthcoming novels Goat Knuckle Bones, The Rattle of the Cage, and The Stormers as he earned his MA in Writing at Johns Hopkins.

The photo on the left is a photo of Iclea Policart, who died in July of 2023. A nurse from Haiti, she always dreamed of being a writer. Claude-Robert Policart inherited her gift for storytelling and her passion for writing. Iclea’s memory is the driving force behind Claude-Robert’s desire to create a body of work. Iclea is his inspiration. He wants to honor her memory.

When not writing, he enjoys drawing comics.
